From cable bracing to crane services to winter weather preparation, we’re here to help all year round!
Cabling & Bracing
Cables can be installed for two reasons: to reduce the risk of failure of multi-trunked trees with weak attachments or to prevent failure of weak branches. Installing cabling and bracing hardware can reduce the risk of these trunks or limbs breaking and can extend the life of the tree. Cabling can increase the strength and stability of weak branches or stems.
Cables are only installed after an inspection and evaluation of your tree by one of our ISA Certified Arborists, who will determine if cabling and bracing, is the best option for the tree. For some hazardous limbs or trees, pruning or removal is the safest choice.
Cables are attached to bolts and are installed in the upper canopy of a tree between stems or branches. The purpose of this of hardware is to provide support during high wind and storms and to limit the movement of the supported stems or branches so they are less likely to break under stress.
Colder months are the ideal time to have work done on your trees. Which is why, when weather allows, we are out year-round.
Trees shed their leaves in the winter, giving arborists a better view of what may be diseased or needs to be removed.
Frozen ground means minimal damage to your property. You won’t have to worry about our crews disturbing your flower garden or heavy machinery leaving deep tracks in your yard.
In the winter, fresh cuts are less vulnerable to insects that may be carrying destructive diseases.
Anyone who has ever held a shovel knows that snow is heavy. So before weak branches fall under the weight of a heavy snow, get your trees ready for winter.
Because regular maintenance jobs, like pruning and brush clearing, slow down in the winter, you won’t get stuck waiting for an appointment.
We offer large quantities (15-30 cubic yards) of FREE woodchips year-round. Perfect for dog runs, playgrounds, flower beds, or muddy backyards.
Free organic wood chips can be used in place of dyed mulch. This helps to discourage weeds and organic mulches also improve the soil as they decompose.
Contact us if you would like to be added to our delivery list. We will deliver fresh woodchips when we have a crew working nearby with clean chips available.
